I,  [Name] pledge to acknowledge the deficiencies of the systems within our community that have historically excluded, harmed or ignored Black people, indigenous people and people of color. 

 

I will be an advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion, striving to uplift the voices, work and ideas of all people, especially those who have been marginalized because of the color of their skin, their background, their ability or their lifestyle.

I vow to continue educating myself on the experiences of others, my learned biases and the consequences of my actions in order to better the experiences of Black, indigenous and people of color in the arts and beyond.
